"Wholeness is not achieved by cutting off a portion of our own being but by integration of the contraries."

-Carl Jung

Yoga & Meditation

Science and spirituality both seek to understand existence and our place within it. Both pursue the understanding of existence and reality by sharing a deep curiosity about the universe. While science explores the external, measurable world, spirituality turns inward toward intuition, inner awareness, and our lived experience. When these two perspectives are aligned through the interdisciplinary practice of yoga, they create greater possibility, balance, and the freedom of choice.

Through yoga and meditation, the body and mind are guided into systematic relaxation. This process balances both the gross and subtle systems of the body, allowing the nervous system to settle and the mind to quiet. As the breath naturally slows and deepens, heart rate stabilizes, and the body and mind  return to their original blueprint, a state of ease, coherence, and clarity.

From this integrated state, creativity naturally arises. Space is created, physically, mentally, and energetically, allowing new ways of thinking and feeling to emerge. Perception shifts, equinamity develops, and opportunities for growth and expansion become available.

When yoga is practiced comprehensively, a meditative state arises.  When systematic relaxation leads naturally into meditation, yoga is fully experienced.
